Lior Storfer

Vice President, Research and Development

Lior Storfer leads the Better Place research and development organization from the company’s primary R&D center in Tel Aviv. In this role, he is primarily responsible for overseeing efforts toward further development of the operating and other systems underlying the company’s electric vehicle services platform.

Storfer has more than 20 years of experience in management, software development and electrical-system design. Before joining Better Place, he was vice president of R&D at Modu, maker of the world’s lightest mobile phone.

Prior to that, Storfer held various positions with Texas Instruments. He most recently managed engineering, including software and system development, of the company’s wireless LAN solutions for the broadband market. In a prior role, he established a software technology center for Texas Instruments. Storfer joined Texas Instruments after its 1999 acquisition of Libit Signal Processing, where he held various development-related, management positions.

Storfer has a B.Sc. in computer engineering from the Technion and an MBA from Tel Aviv University.
