Dan Cohen

Chief Executive Officer

Dan Cohen is the CEO of Better Place Global and Better Place Israel.  A Better Place veteran, Cohen recently returned to lead the company as it focuses on its next stage of growth.  Cohen brings deep knowledge of the company and EV landscape, as well as hands-on experience in running the business, as the company transitions from an R&D to a sales focused organization.

Cohen served as Better Place's Vice President for Strategic Initiatives for four years, overseeing key initiatives and providing leadership support within the Office of the CEO.  
 
Before joining Better Place, Cohen served as managing director with John L. Thornton & Company, a leading private equity firm, where he focused on investments and strategic advisory projects throughout Asia. Prior to that, Cohen was a consultant with McKinsey & Company, where he led client engagements in the consumer goods sector. His prior experience also includes several years working as a civil servant for the Israeli government.
 
Cohen has an LL.B. from The Hebrew University in Jerusalem and an MBA from The Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University.
